How to Get Katana

Buy the Katana from the starter shop for 1K Beli, or receive it as the default spawn weapon when creating a new character. It is the most accessible weapon in the game and requires zero effort to obtain.

Move Set

M1 Combo

4-hit chain dealing 500 damage per hit (2,000 total before modifiers).

Skill 1: Quick Slash

  • Damage: 550, Cooldown: 5s, Range: 5m
  • Description: A fast horizontal slash. Low cooldown makes it the most spammable skill in the early game.

Skill 2: Rising Cut

  • Damage: 700, Cooldown: 8s, Range: 5m
  • Description: An upward slash that deals moderate damage. Can hit jumping enemies and has a slight knock-up effect.

Skill 3: Blade Pulse

  • Damage: 850, Cooldown: 11s, Range: 6m
  • Description: A focused slash that releases a short-range energy wave. The strongest move in the kit but still modest overall.

Combo Potential

  • Quick Slash into Rising Cut: Two rapid hits that form the basic bread-and-butter combo for new players learning the game.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Free or only 1K Beli from the starter shop
  • Medium swing speed is comfortable for learning
  • Quick Slash has a 5s cooldown for frequent use
  • Teaches fundamental sword mechanics

Cons

  • Lowest or near-lowest damage across all weapons
  • No AoE or crowd control capabilities
  • Outclassed by every other weapon in the game

When to Replace

Replace with the Pipe for fast swings, the Mace for stun utility, or 2 Sword Style for a proper damage upgrade. Any weapon purchase is an improvement over the Katana.

Best Pairings

  • Fruit: Spin Fruit (adds AoE the Katana completely lacks)
  • Fighting Style: Combat (keeps things simple while you learn the basics)
