Shark Blade Overview
Shark Blade is a B-tier First Sea weapon that excels at boss fights and farming thanks to its bleed mechanics and gap-closing potential. Its medium swing speed keeps combos fluid while the bleed tick from Shark Bite adds passive damage over time, making it a reliable workhorse for players progressing through early-to-mid content.

How to Get Shark Blade
Shark Blade drops from the Sea Beast boss at a 12% rate. It can also be traded with other players for roughly 100K-200K Beli. Farming Sea Beast is the most consistent method, so bring a party if your damage is low.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Bleed from Shark Bite adds passive damage over time
- Deep Bite provides excellent gap-closing utility
- Medium swing speed allows smooth M1 chains
- Solid base damage at 880 per M1
Cons
- Relies on drop from Sea Beast (12% rate can feel grindy)
- Fin Slash range is modest compared to other AoE options
- Outclassed by A-tier weapons in late First Sea
When to Replace
Upgrade to an A-tier sword such as Saber or a Legendary weapon once you reach late First Sea or begin Second Sea content, where higher base damage and stronger skills become necessary.
Best Pairings
- Fruit: Mera Fruit (fire DoT stacks with bleed for extra sustained damage)
- Fighting Style: Fishman Karate (water-based combos synergize with the sea theme and provide extra range)
