Clear Fruit Overview
The Clear fruit is a C-tier Paramecia that revolves around invisibility and surprise attacks. Vanish and Transparent let you go invisible or dodge, while Clear Strike and Ghost Attack provide your damage. The concept is fun - become invisible, land a surprise hit, then retreat - but the damage is so low that even fully successful ambushes barely dent opponents. Clear is a gimmick fruit that sounds better than it plays.

Move Set
Skill 1: Vanish (Unlocks at Fruit Equip)
- Damage: 0
- Cooldown: 10 seconds
- Range: Self
- Description: Turn invisible for several seconds. Attacking breaks invisibility. Useful for repositioning or escaping but offers no damage. Enemies with observation Haki can still detect you.
Skill 2: Clear Strike (Unlocks at Fruit Level 25)
- Damage: 800
- Cooldown: 8 seconds
- Range: 6 meters
- Description: Strike while partially transparent, dealing bonus damage if you attack from behind. The backstab bonus adds some value but 800 base damage is still low. Best used immediately after Vanish breaks.
Skill 3: Transparent (Unlocks at Fruit Level 50)
- Damage: 0
- Cooldown: 12 seconds
- Range: Self
- Description: Briefly become partially transparent, gaining a dodge buff that increases your evasion for a short duration. Another purely defensive skill. Stack with Vanish for extended stealth windows.
Skill 4: Ghost Attack (Unlocks at Fruit Level 75)
- Damage: 1,500
- Cooldown: 18 seconds
- Range: 15 meters
- Description: Release a ghost-like AoE attack that damages surrounding enemies. Your strongest damage skill and the only one with real range. Decent for a capstone but the 18-second cooldown hurts.
Why C-Tier
Clear has two zero-damage skills out of four, which severely limits its damage per rotation. Even when invisibility works, the pay-off damage is too low - Clear Strike hits for 800 at best. Observant players can predict invisible opponents, and observation Haki outright counters Vanish. The stealth gimmick is fun in theory but ineffective in practice against anyone who knows the matchup.
When to Trade
Trade Clear at the first opportunity. Its 100K-200K Beli value is middling for a C-tier fruit. The invisibility mechanic is the only reason it trades for anything, but once players understand how to counter it, Clear becomes nearly useless. Any B-tier fruit is a clear upgrade.
Best Pairings
- Weapon: Soul Cane - budget weapon; the pull can set up Clear Strike backstabs
- Fighting Style: Black Leg - adds reliable damage during non-stealth moments
- Race: Any - Clear's invisibility works independently of race bonuses
