Spike Fruit Overview
The Spike fruit is a C-tier Paramecia that tries to play a ranged-pressure game with projectiles and zone control. Spike Shot and Spike Forest give it some ranged presence, and Spike Shield offers a unique reflect mechanic. However, the damage is too low to threaten most builds, and the dash skill Spike Rush requires you to close distance, which works against the ranged game plan. Trade Spike early for a more focused fruit.

- Description: Cover yourself in spikes, reflecting a portion of melee damage back to attackers. The reflect damage is low but the visual deterrent can discourage melee approaches. Lasts for several seconds.
Skill 3: Spike Rush (Unlocks at Fruit Level 50)
- Damage: 1,200 (multi-hit)
- Cooldown: 14 seconds
- Range: 12 meters
- Description: Dash forward while covered in spikes, hitting enemies multiple times along the path. The multi-hit gives it decent total damage but the dash forces you into melee range after a poke.
Skill 4: Spike Forest (Unlocks at Fruit Level 75)

- Cooldown: 18 seconds
- Range: 16 meters
- Description: Erupt spikes from the ground in a wide zone, damaging enemies standing in the area. Your strongest zoning tool. Good for area denial but the damage per tick is low compared to higher-tier zone skills.
Why C-Tier
Spike's kit lacks the damage to make its pressure game effective. Spike Shot pokes for 600 damage, which is negligible in PvP. Spike Shield reflect is too weak to punish melee builds meaningfully. The kit also has a split identity - ranged pokes conflict with Spike Rush's melee dash. Higher-tier fruits do projectile damage or zone control much better.
When to Trade
Trade Spike at the earliest opportunity. Its 80K-180K Beli trade value is among the lowest in the game. Any B-tier fruit is a strict upgrade. If you are stuck with Spike, use Spike Shot for safe farming and save up for a replacement.
